न्यूकैसल यूनाइटेड के डिफेंडर फैबियन शार ने क्लब के साथ अपने अनुबंध में एक साल का विस्तार किया है। इस नए समझौते के बाद वह 2026/27 सीजन के अंत तक सेंट जेम्स पार्क में बने रहेंगे।

Fabian Schar has signed a new one-year contract extension with Newcastle, keeping him at St James’ Park until the end of the 2026/27 season.
The 34-year-old’s previous deal was set to expire in June, but he will now continue into his ninth season with the club after committing his future.
Schar joined Newcastle from Deportivo La Coruna in 2018. He has made 251 appearances for the Magpies in all competitions. Schar has also scored 22 goals for the club during his time in England.
Speaking after signing the extension, Schar said: “I’m really pleased to be staying at the club. I feel like I’ve achieved a lot in my eight years here but I believe there is still much more to come.
“I’m proud to call Newcastle home. Everybody knows how happy I am, both in this city and with this club, so I’m very glad to be continuing that for another year.
“Last season didn’t end the way I wanted in terms of my injury, but my full focus now is on getting back to fitness and helping the team achieve our goals next season.”
