एथलेटिको मैड्रिड के मिडफील्डर जॉनी कार्डोसो की होगी एड़ी की सर्जरी
एथलेटिको मैड्रिड ने आधिकारिक तौर पर पुष्टि की है कि मिडफील्डर जॉनी कार्डोसो के दाहिने टखने (एंकल) की सर्जरी की जाएगी।
Johnny Cardoso will undergo surgery on his right ankle, Atletico Madrid have officially confirmed.
The midfielder suffered the injury during Atlético’s 1-0 home defeat to RC Celta de Vigo in La Liga.
Cardoso was unable to continue after hurting his ankle during the match, with medical tests later confirming that surgery would be required.
Atletico have not yet revealed how long the 24-year-old is expected to be sidelined for following the operation.
The injury comes as another setback for Diego Simeone’s side during the closing stages of the season.
