Legendary Brazilian forward Hulk is set for a club change after five successful years with Atlético Mineiro. The 39-year-old striker is reportedly close to finalizing a move to Fluminense, commonly referred to as “Big Flu.”
As per ESPN Brasil, Hulk is currently in the final stages of completing his transfer. The club is now awaiting the results of his medical examination, which will pave the way for an official confirmation of the deal.
Despite being considered advanced in age by football standards, Hulk continues to showcase impressive performance levels and goal-scoring capabilities. He has played a pivotal role at Atlético Mineiro, emerging as a key figure and a leader in the attack.
Atlético Mineiro has officially announced the mutual termination of Hulk’s contract. Additionally, the club has planned a farewell event to honor the veteran forward, scheduled for May 10, just ahead of their league match against Botafogo.
