Inter coach Simone Inzaghi has urged his players to forget about their aggregate advantage when they host Bayern Munich in the second leg of their Champions League quarter-final.

Inter won the first leg 2-1 last week thanks to goals from Lautaro Martinez and Davide Frattesi.

“Tomorrow will be a difficult game, we have to forget the result of the first leg, but not the way we played, because we played well in Munich,” Simone told Inter’s official website on Wednesday.

Inzaghi is wary of the quality of Bayern’s players, who he believes are capable of turning things around in the second leg.

“Along with Real Madrid, I think Bayern are the strongest team in the world. They are strong and full of quality players led by a talented coach,” said Inzaghi.

Bayern need to win by two goals to advance to the semifinals. Inter only need a draw to advance.
