One of the candidates, Enrique Riquelme, has announced his plans for a marquee signing if he wins. During a recent appearance on the show El Hormiguero, Riquelme disclosed that Erling Haaland would be targeted for transfer, alongside another notable player, Rodri.
Quote: “Erling Haaland and Rodri are my star signings if I become Real Madrid president,” Riquelme stated.
In related developments, current president Florentino Pérez has confirmed that iconic Portuguese manager José Mourinho would be appointed as Real Madrid’s next head coach if he wins re-election in the upcoming club elections.
Meanwhile, Mourinho has reportedly compiled a list of players he feels should leave the Santiago Bernabéu, as they do not align with his vision for the future.
