Ivory Coast has made history by becoming the first African nation to announce its squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Head coach Emerse Faé has finalized the selection as the Elephants gear up for the prestigious tournament set to take place in the United States, Canada, and Mexico from June 11 to July 19, 2026.

The squad includes goalkeepers Yahia Fofana (Rizespor), Mohamed Kone (Charleroi), and Alban Lafont (Panathinaikos). Defenders selected are Emmanuel Agbadou (Besiktas), Clement Akpa (Auxerre), Ousmane Diomande (Sporting CP), Guela Doue (Strasbourg), Ghislain Konan (Gil Vicente), Odilon Kossounou (Atalanta), Evan Ndicka (Roma), and Wilfried Singo (Galatasaray).

In midfield, the team features Seko Fofana (Stade Rennais), Parfait Guiagon (Charleroi), Christ Inao Oulai (Trabzonspor), Franck Kessie (Al Ahli), Ibrahim Sangare (Nottingham Forest), and Jean Seri (NK Maribor). The forwards set to represent Ivory Coast are Simon Adingra (Monaco), Ange-Yoan Bonny (Inter), Amad Diallo (Manchester United), Oumar Diakite (Cercle Brugge), Yan Diomande (RB Leipzig), Evann Guessand (Aston Villa), Nicolas Pepe (Villarreal), Bazoumana Toure (Hoffenheim), and Elye Wahi (Nice).
