Forward Alexander Isak will miss the highly anticipated Premier League match between Manchester United and Liverpool on matchday 35. The striker has sustained a minor groin injury, prompting him to withdraw from the fixture.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the injury is not deemed serious; however, the medical team has opted to exercise caution regarding Isak’s health.
Isak’s absence is significant for Liverpool as they aim for a top-five finish in the league. This season, he has scored only four goals in 21 appearances, largely due to being sidelined with injuries for much of the campaign.
