Liverpool have been linked with a move for Bournemouth youngster Milos Kerkez, who has been in fine form this season. The 21-year-old has caught the eye of a number of clubs after impressing on the left side of Bournemouth’s defence.
According to The ECHO, Liverpool are monitoring Kerkez’s progress as an option to strengthen the team in the upcoming transfer window.
Bournemouth are reported to have set a £45m price tag for Kerkez, who has three years left on his contract at the club. Despite Liverpool’s interest, they are reportedly not interested in including Caoimhin Kelleher as part of the deal.
Kerkez himself has previously opened up the opportunity to play for a big club, saying that although it is too early to talk about his future, joining Liverpool alongside Dominik Szoboszlai would not be a bad idea.
However, Kerkez currently says he is still focused on achieving success with Bournemouth, with many games to win.
Meanwhile, Sky Germany reports that Eintracht Frankfurt have approached Liverpool over a potential move for Wataru Endo. The Japan international joined Liverpool from Stuttgart in 2023 but has struggled for regular game time this season, not even starting in the Premier League.
Frankfurt are reportedly interested in signing Endo, but they have stated that the transfer fee he would carry is still too high at the moment, so transfer talks are not a priority for them.
Liverpool are currently looking for new options in the transfer market, with a focus on strengthening their squad, both at the back and in midfield.
