Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah is set to return to action before the end of the season following a minor muscle injury diagnosis, the club has announced. The Egyptian international was substituted in the 59th minute during Liverpool’s 3-1 victory against Crystal Palace on Saturday due to a hamstring issue.

In an official statement, Liverpool confirmed that Salah is expected to be fit for play again before the current campaign concludes.

“Liverpool FC can confirm Mohamed Salah is expected to be available to play again before the end of this season,” a club statement read.

“The No. 11 was substituted during the second half of last Saturday’s Premier League win over Crystal Palace at Anfield.”
