Liverpool FC has officially submitted a bid to acquire RB Leipzig winger Jan Diomande, offering a total package of €90 million along with €10 million in potential bonuses.
According to The Athletic, the Premier League club has intensified negotiations and improved their previous proposal. Despite the considerable offer totaling nearly €100 million, it has not met the expectations of RB Leipzig.
The German club has rejected Liverpool’s bid and is reportedly aiming to extend Diomande’s contract, enhance his salary, and adjust his release clause. Additionally, Paris Saint-Germain has shown interest in the Ivorian player but has not yet made an official offer, preferring to await Diomande’s decision. Current reports suggest that PSG’s contract conditions are less favorable compared to those offered by Liverpool.
Liverpool finds itself in a strong negotiating position; however, the transfer remains uncertain. Leipzig is expected to reconsider their position only if a bid in the range of €120 to €130 million is presented.
