Liverpool‘s young talent, Rio Ngumoha, is now eligible to represent the French national team, according to a report from PSG Reporter. This eligibility stems from his mother’s heritage, as she is from Guadeloupe, an overseas department of France.
Due to Guadeloupe’s status, its citizens hold French nationality, granting Rio the right to be called up for “Les Bleus.” This opens the door for him to choose between representing England or France at the international level.
This season, Ngumoha has made an impressive 27 appearances for Liverpool, scoring three goals, further showcasing his potential as a rising star in football.
