Manchester United has officially confirmed that Kobbie Mainoo has signed a new contract with the club, extending his stay until June 2031. This announcement was made on Thursday, after the England international committed to a new five-year deal.

Mainoo has been a crucial part of the team since Michael Carrick’s arrival, having started 12 of the club’s 13 league games this season. His performances have significantly contributed to the team’s current form.

Earlier in the season, Mainoo had expressed a desire to go on loan after experiencing a lack of game time under the previous head coach, Ruben Amorim. However, his situation has changed with the new management.
