Manchester United are intensifying their pursuit of AC Milan striker Rafael Leão. According to Tuttosport, representatives from the English club plan to attend the upcoming Serie A match between Milan and Juventus to closely evaluate Leão’s performance.
Leão has emerged as a top target for Manchester United for the next season, with preliminary discussions having already taken place between the player’s camp and the club. However, negotiations have not yet reached an advanced stage.
As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, AC Milan is open to considering offers for Leão during the summer transfer window, with a fee of approximately €50 million likely to satisfy their management.
Manchester United may face significant competition from Barcelona, who have also expressed interest in the winger and have previously contacted his representatives. Nonetheless, similar to United, no formal negotiations have commenced at this time.
