Marcus Rashford is reportedly set to return to Old Trafford as negotiations with Barcelona have not gone as planned.
According to DiarioAS, Barcelona made an unsuccessful bid for the 28-year-old winger, which Manchester United rejected. The Catalan club attempted to leverage a €30 million buyout clause but only offered €15 million, a figure that was deemed inadequate by United.
As a result, Rashford is likely to depart Barcelona, where he has been on loan, and begin preparations for the upcoming season at Manchester United. In his time at Barcelona, Rashford played 49 matches, netting 14 goals and providing 14 assists.
His loan spell is set to conclude in a few weeks, and his current transfer value is estimated at €40 million by Transfermarkt.
