The Manchester United board has pinpointed its primary target for a long-term attacking reinforcement. According to The Telegraph, Aston Villa and England playmaker Morgan Rogers has emerged as the front-runner to succeed Bruno Fernandes, who has been a key figure for the Red Devils.

Rogers, a product of the Manchester City academy, previously won the Premier League 2 title with their youth team. In addition to pursuing Rogers, Manchester United is also actively negotiating a deal for West Ham midfielder Mateus Fernandes as part of a significant midfield overhaul. Both players are viewed as essential in reshaping the squad to return United to the pinnacle of English football.

The club is anticipated to intensify negotiations for these transfers in the upcoming transfer window. This season, Rogers has made 51 appearances for Aston Villa, netting 12 goals and registering 9 assists.
