Juventus may strengthen their midfield by pursuing a player from Manchester United. Reports indicate that the Italian club has been offered 25-year-old holding midfielder Manuel Ugarte as a potential short-term addition.
According to Calciomercato, Manchester United is not in a hurry to sell Ugarte. The club’s management believes that his current transfer value is too low. Instead, they are reportedly interested in loaning the Uruguayan to a top club, with Juventus identified as a prime target.
Ugarte joined Manchester United in the summer of 2024 from PSG for €50 million; however, he has yet to fully establish his role within the team. To date, he has made only 69 appearances for the Red Devils, scoring twice and providing six assists.
Transfermarkt estimates Ugarte’s current market value at €30 million, and he is under contract with Manchester United until 2030.
