Arsenal are tracking Ivan Fresneda ahead of the upcoming transfer window as they look to strengthen their full-back options, according to Simon Collings.
Arsenal’s interest in the 21-year-old dates back to January 2023, when he was still at Real Valladolid, before he joined Sporting for around £8m that summer.
Fresneda is understood to have a release clause of around €80m, although sources suggest he could be available for a lower fee, with Sporting open to offers as he enters the final two years of his contract.
Any potential arrival in the full-back area could also create uncertainty around the future of Ben White at Arsenal.
