നീണ്ട തെരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് ദിവസത്തിന് ശേഷം റയൽ മാഡ്രിഡ് പ്രസിഡന്റായി ഫ്ലോറെന്റിനോ പെരസ് വീണ്ടും തെരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെട്ടു. തന്റെ നേതൃത്വത്തിന് ലഭിച്ച വലിയ അംഗീകാരമായാണ് ഈ വിജയത്തെ അദ്ദേഹം വിശേഷിപ്പിച്ചത്.

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has expressed his delight after securing re-election following a long election day, describing the result as a strong endorsement of his leadership.
Perez addressed supporters and media following a delayed vote count, celebrating what he called a historic result for the club’s membership.
“It’s a very happy day for all Madrid fans. I’m very happy, and all of us Madridistas are very happy,” he said upon arrival, accompanied by members of the club’s board.
“We won at every polling station, across all age groups, and we achieved the second-best result in Real Madrid’s history. It’s an extraordinary result,” he stated.
“Real Madrid has won today. It has been a brilliant election day where the members have freely expressed their will to decide the fate of the best club in the world,” he added.
Perez reiterated his commitment to continued sporting success and stability at the club, while also referencing the arrival of high-profile figures in the sporting project.
“I’m here to defend Real Madrid. We’re going to keep working so that Real Madrid keeps winning titles. I’m proud that one of the best coaches in the world, José Mourinho, is coming here,” he said.
He also set out long-term ambitions, including pursuing further European success.
“We will continue fighting to win every title, and we will not rest until we win our sixteenth European Cup,” Pérez declared.
“I also want to address those members who didn’t vote for me. I will do everything possible to address their concerns and suggestions. We will continue fighting until the end, never giving up. Together, we still have a long history to make,” he said.
