“ഇതൊന്നും റോസെനിയറുടെ മാത്രം തെറ്റല്ല. തീരുമാനങ്ങൾ എടുക്കുന്നവരാണ് ഇതിന് മറുപടി പറയേണ്ടത്. യുവത്വമുള്ള ഒരു ടീമിനെ പരിശീലിപ്പിക്കാൻ പരിചയസമ്പത്തില്ലാത്ത ഒരു യുവ മാനേജറെ കൊണ്ടുവന്നാൽ എന്ത് ഫലമാണ് പ്രതീക്ഷിക്കാൻ കഴിയുക? ആരാണ് ആരെ നയിക്കുന്നത്?” മിക്കൽ ചോദിക്കുന്നു.
ക്ലബ്ബിന്റെ വിജയകരമായ സംസ്കാരവും മാനസികാവസ്ഥയും ഈ ഉടമകൾ നശിപ്പിച്ചുവെന്ന് മിക്കൽ വിമർശിക്കുന്നു. “മുൻ ഉടമ റോമൻ അബ്രമോവിച്ചിന് ക്ലബ്ബിനോടും ആരാധകരോടും കമ്മ്യൂണിറ്റിയോടും വലിയ സ്നേഹമുണ്ടായിരുന്നു. അദ്ദേഹം നിരവധി അവസരങ്ങൾ സൃഷ്ടിച്ചു. എന്നാൽ ഇപ്പോഴത്തെ ഉടമകൾ പണം ചെലവാക്കുന്നുണ്ടെങ്കിലും, വളരാൻ നാലോ അഞ്ചോ വർഷം ആവശ്യമുള്ള യുവതാരങ്ങളെയാണ് ടീമിലെടുക്കുന്നത്. നമുക്ക് അത്രയും സമയമില്ല. ഉടമകളെ നമ്മൾ ചോദ്യം ചെയ്യണം. ആരാധകർക്ക് വിജയം വേണം, അത് ഞങ്ങൾ ആവശ്യപ്പെടുന്നു,” അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു.

Chelsea legend Mikel Obi has refused to lay the blame on Liam Rosenior for the team’s massive struggles this season.
For Mikel, the bulk of the blame rests on the spoting directors and owners who hired Rosenior in the first place.
“It’s not all Rosenior’s fault, it’s the people making the decisions, bringing in a young inexperienced manager to a young side, what do you expect? Who’s leading who?” Mikel says.
“This is where these owners have taken us. They’ve taken a club so successful, the culture, mentality,” Mikel continues.
“The owner we had before [Roman Abramovic], he had love for the club but also the fans, the community, he created jobs.
“These owners have spent money but young players who take 4-5 years, we don’t have time, we have to hold these owners accountable, the owners are making the decisions, we have to WIN, the fans demand that, we demand that!”
“We don’t want 10-15 years without the league, because slowly but surely when you start taking yourself out the equation, next season next season next season, slowly but surely you then go 10,25,20 years without winning the league,” Mikel adds.
