സ്പോർട്ടിംഗ് ജിജോണിനെ പരിശീലിപ്പിക്കാൻ ആഗ്രഹമുണ്ടെന്ന് ലൂയിസ് എൻറിക്വെ
പിഎസ്ജി പരിശീലകൻ ലൂയിസ് എൻറിക്വെ തൻ്റെ ബാല്യകാല ക്ലബ്ബായ സ്പോർട്ടിംഗ് ജിജോണിലേക്ക് ഭാവിയിൽ മടങ്ങിയെത്താനുള്ള ആഗ്രഹം പങ്കുവെച്ചു. സ്പെയിനിലേക്ക് മടങ്ങിപ്പോകാനും ആ ക്ലബ്ബിനെ പരിശീലിപ്പിക്കാനും താൻ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നുവെന്ന് എൻറിക്വെ വ്യക്തമാക്കി.
PSG manager Luis Enrique has stated that he dreams of returning to Spain one day to coach boyhood club Sporting Gijon.
“Sporting missed a great opportunity by not giving me the job at the beginning. Now, even my father is betting on Luis Enrique as coach, of course, that’s understandable,” Enrique said.
“The opportunity came when I was a nobody, a nobody in quotes. Well, yes, as a coach I was a nobody. That’s what Barça did, giving me the reserve team. I’m terrified of failing in my hometown.
“I’ve seen Pitu, who hasn’t failed, he’s been successful as both a player and a coach. But he was criticised and sacked by Sporting.
“I, who have lived so little time in Gijón, only my first twenty years… if I go to Gijón and they kick me out, I think I’ll throw myself off Santa Catalina Hill. I see it as unlikely.
“Besides, now I’m used to the highest level, which is where I feel most comfortable. I can’t rule it out, but I don’t see it as something feasible either,” Enrique concludes.

സ്വന്തം നാട്ടിൽ പരാജയപ്പെടുമോ എന്ന ഭയം തനിക്കുണ്ടെന്ന് അദ്ദേഹം തുറന്നുപറഞ്ഞു. ക്ലബ്ബിന്റെ താരവും പരിശീലകനുമായി തിളങ്ങിയ പിയുവിനെപ്പോലെയുള്ളവർക്ക് പോലും വിമർശനങ്ങൾ നേരിടേണ്ടി വന്നിട്ടുണ്ട്. ജിജോണിൽ നിന്ന് പുറത്താക്കപ്പെട്ടാൽ താൻ സാൻ്റ കാറ്റലീന ഹില്ലിൽ നിന്ന് ചാടുമെന്ന് തമാശരൂപേണ അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു. നിലവിൽ ഉയർന്ന തലത്തിൽ പ്രവർത്തിക്കാൻ താൻ ശീലിച്ചുകഴിഞ്ഞു. അതിനാൽ ജിജോണിലേക്കുള്ള മടക്കം അസാധ്യമാണെന്ന് പറയുന്നില്ലെങ്കിലും, അത് പ്രായോഗികമായി താൻ കാണുന്നില്ലെന്നും ലൂയിസ് എൻറിക്വെ വ്യക്തമാക്കി.
