Fabrizio Romano has reported that Manchester United have all but completed the signing of Ederson from Atalanta.
The midfielder comes in as United seek to strengthen their midfield after the departure of Casemiro.
“Manchester United and Atalanta have now completed all documents for €45m package deal for Éderson,” writes Romano.
“All done and player set to sign later on this summer but all agreed with Éderson since May. First signing: 100% confirmed.”
United are still expected to make more midfield signings as Ederson is seen as an alternative to Manuel Ugarte.
