According to The Athletic, Kylian Mbappe has irritated staff under Alvaro Arbeloa after a tense public exchange following Real Madrid’s 2-0 win at already-relegated Real Oviedo.
The report says the annoyance is not just about his comments after the match, but also about his conduct in the days leading up to it.
Mbappe was not in the starting XI, came on in the 69th minute, and then stopped to speak to reporters on his way out of the stadium.
He said he was “100 per cent” fit and added that he did not start because the coach had told him he was the “fourth striker” behind Mastantuono, Vinicius and Gonzalo.
