According to L’Equipe, Portuguese side FC Porto will not trigger the eight million euro buy option included in Terem Moffi’s recent loan.
The 27-year-old Nigerian forward will officially return to his parent club, OGC Nice, ahead of the upcoming summer transfer window.
Moffi originally joined Porto back in January following an intense fan attack on Nice’s official team bus back in November.
However, the striker struggled for form during his brief spell in Portugal, scoring just two goals in fifteen competitive games.
With only one year remaining on his contract, Nice will immediately look to find a permanent new club for the international.
