Monaco has made the decision to permanently acquire young winger Ansu Fati, following a successful loan period. Barcelona has agreed to let their homegrown talent move to the French club.
Details: According to reports from DiarioAS, Monaco and Barcelona have reached an agreement for the transfer of the 23-year-old Catalan winger. The reported transfer fee for Fati is €11 million, although Barcelona will retain a buy-back option and a percentage of any future sale of the player.
The deal is anticipated to be finalized this week, with an official announcement expected shortly. Ansu Fati initially joined Monaco on a season-long loan during the summer of 2025 and has impressed by making 30 appearances this season, scoring 12 goals. His performances were instrumental in convincing Monaco’s management to activate the buyout clause.
As per Transfermarkt, Ansu Fati’s current market value is estimated at €15 million.
