Star forward Neymar will officially miss Brazil’s upcoming match against the Haitian national team. The Selecao’s head coach Carlo Ancelotti has decided not to include Neymar in the squad for this game.
The decision comes as the medical and coaching staff of the national team aim to eliminate any risks related to the player’s health. Neymar only returned to full training with the group 24 hours ago; consequently, he continues to focus on regaining his optimal condition.
The coaching staff has opted to protect the team leader by allowing him to finish his recovery process without rushing his workload. If Neymar is fit, he is expected to make his return in the third round against Scotland.
