The Spanish club Rayo Vallecano has officially exercised the option to sign Senegalese defender Nobel Mendy on a permanent basis.
Mendy, who joined the club on loan from Real Betis last summer, has made a significant impact, with 24 league appearances and two goals during the 2025–2026 season. His performance has pleased the management at Rayo Vallecano.
In light of his contributions, the club has opted to activate the purchase clause in Mendy’s loan agreement. The defender is now contracted to Rayo Vallecano until 2030, allowing him to continue his career in La Liga.
