Paul Onuachu showcased a remarkable performance as Trabzonspor triumphed over Konyaspor, clinching the Turkish Cup and marking the club’s first major trophy in nearly ten years.
The Nigerian striker set the stage early in the final, scoring a powerful goal in the 18th minute that gave Trabzonspor an early lead and control of the match.
In the second half, Konyaspor responded strongly, with Jackson Muleka equalizing in the 50th minute. The team then had a chance to take the lead when they were awarded a penalty, but Enis Bardhi’s attempt in the 58th minute was unsuccessful.
Trabzonspor regained their advantage later in the match, receiving a penalty in the 79th minute. Onuachu stepped up and successfully converted, securing his brace and ultimately sealing the victory for his team.
