AC Milan is making strides in its efforts to bolster the squad, focusing on a potential transfer for a player from the Portugal national team. The club has reportedly reached a personal agreement with Antonio Silva, a 22-year-old central defender from Benfica.

Details: Insider Nicolò Schira has confirmed that Silva is set to sign a contract running until 2031, should the transfer to the Italian giants proceed. AC Milan is currently in the process of preparing an official offer for Benfica.

In the 2025/26 season, Silva had a noteworthy performance for Benfica, featuring in one match where he scored a goal and provided an assist. He also made his debut for Portugal’s national team. Currently, Transfermarkt values him at approximately 25 million euros.
