Paris Saint-Germain has announced that full-back Achraf Hakimi will be sidelined for several weeks due to a hamstring injury, effectively ruling him out of the critical UEFA Champions League semifinal second leg against Bayern Munich.

The injury occurred during the first leg of the semifinal at the Parc des Princes, where Hakimi suffered the setback late in the match following a collision with Bayern’s Konrad Laimer. Despite experiencing discomfort, he was forced to remain on the pitch as PSG had exhausted their substitutions.

PSG released an official statement confirming the severity of the injury and outlining the expected recovery period.
