Raheem Sterling, the well-known midfielder, is currently embroiled in serious legal issues. According to reports from The Sun, the 31-year-old Feyenoord right winger was arrested yesterday morning following a car accident in which he crashed his Lamborghini into a highway barrier.
Upon arrival at the scene, police noticed Sterling’s erratic behavior, raising suspicions of drug use. Officers requested a drug test, which Sterling reportedly refused. He is under investigation for the use of Class C drugs, which include certain banned tranquilizers. Following the incident, he was released on bail as the investigation continues.
Since joining Feyenoord as a free agent from Chelsea in February, Sterling has struggled to find form, making only eight appearances for the Dutch club.
