Kaizer Chiefs may face the prospect of losing their standout winger, Glody Lilepo, from the Democratic Republic of Congo. Lilepo, who made a significant impact this season after joining from French club Valenciennes FC, has been in excellent form.

According to a report by Le Site Info, Raja Casablanca coach Fadlu Davids has expressed interest in acquiring Lilepo. Davids, who is of South African descent, is keen on bringing local talent into his team.

This season, Lilepo has netted five goals for the Chiefs, establishing himself as a key figure in their offense. His impressive performances have attracted attention from international clubs, although his recent absence from the Democratic Republic of Congo’s World Cup squad has raised questions. Lilepo’s omission follows a fallout with DRC national team coach Sebastien Desabre earlier this year.

It remains to be seen whether Kaizer Chiefs will consider parting with one of their crucial players, especially as they gear up for future competitions.
