Real Madrid defender Eder Militao has been ruled out of the World Cup due to health complications. The Brazilian footballer is scheduled to undergo surgery on his left hip, following issues related to a previous injury.
According to journalist Miguel Ángel Díaz, Militao had to reopen the scar from an injury he sustained in December during a match against Celta. This latest medical intervention is necessary to address the current complications.
The recovery process is expected to be lengthy, and as a result, Militao will not participate in the upcoming World Cup in North America. During the current campaign, the 28-year-old defender has contributed 2 goals in 21 appearances for Real Madrid.
