Ghana international Thomas Partey may be without a club by the end of the month, as reports indicate that Villarreal have no plans to renew his contract. The Spanish side will not be offering the midfielder a new deal, which will conclude his one-year tenure at the club.
According to The Athletic, Partey joined Villarreal after departing from Arsenal last summer. During the 2025/26 season, he made 32 appearances across all competitions.
Currently, the 33-year-old is dealing with a Canadian visa issue while participating in the World Cup with the Ghana national team, linked to ongoing legal proceedings in the United Kingdom.
