Serious disturbances erupted in Budapest ahead of the Champions League final between Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) and Arsenal, involving supporters from both clubs. Eyewitnesses have reported that groups of French and English fans engaged in a significant street brawl in a central area of the city.

Approximately 60 individuals participated in the confrontation. In addition to physical altercations, fans used flares, smoke bombs, and various improvised objects. Videos shared on social media depict chaotic scenes, as rival supporters threw objects at one another, transforming parts of Budapest into a battleground.

The skirmish lasted several minutes before dispersing, and law enforcement was unable to intervene in time. Currently, there have been no official reports of injuries or arrests, and authorities are evaluating the extent of the damage caused during the incident.

In response to the disturbances, security measures for the final have been intensified. Reports indicate that around 4,000 police officers will be deployed throughout Budapest on Saturday evening, marking the city’s largest police operation for a sporting event to date.
