Deportivo La Coruña striker Rodrigue Dipanda has undergone surgery due to a cruciate ligament injury in his knee. The 2025–2026 season ended on a disappointing note for the Cameroonian, who took to social media to announce his diagnosis and the need for surgery.
In his statement, Dipanda expressed his shock at the news, saying, “After several tests, I was diagnosed with a torn anterior cruciate ligament and I need to have surgery. This isn’t what I was expecting, but I’m keeping my spirits up and I’ll do everything I can to come back stronger. I know it will be a long road, but I’m ready to take on this challenge with determination and patience.”
The striker will begin a rehabilitation process that is expected to span several months. During the current season, he managed to score eight goals for Deportivo La Coruña’s reserve team.
