Cristiano Ronaldo has once again finished a season without a trophy, as his team Al-Nassr suffered a stunning defeat to Japan’s Gamba Osaka in the AFC Champions League Two final. The match was decided by a single goal from Hammet scored midway through the first half.
Despite dominating possession and creating numerous chances, Al-Nassr was unable to convert any of their opportunities into goals. The loss marks a disappointing outcome for the Saudi club, particularly for Ronaldo, who remains without a major trophy since joining the team.
At 41 years old, Ronaldo has yet to lift a significant trophy with Al-Nassr, having previously secured the Arab Club Champions Cup, which is not recognized as an official title. However, he does have a remaining opportunity to claim silverware this season, as Al-Nassr can clinch the Saudi Pro League title if they win against Damac in their final match.
