Cristiano Ronaldo‘s sister, Katia Aveiro, has been at the center of controversy after she openly criticized the team post their draw against DR Congo. She also came to the defense of her brother amidst the backlash.
After the match, Aveiro’s social media activity drew attention when she began liking posts that attributed Portugal’s recent shortcomings to Bruno Fernandes. She suggested that Fernandes should have taken on a leadership role during the game, while both he and Cristiano Ronaldo reportedly underperformed.
