Mo Salah is reportedly “increasingly likely” to leave Liverpool at the end of this season.

After contributing to the team’s title win in 2024/25 with 37 goal involvements, he has only managed four goals and six assists in the Premier League this season, with his last goal scored in November.
After being benched for five consecutive matches by Arne Slot late last year, Salah made strong statements after a 3-3 draw with Leeds United in December.
The 33-year-old indicated that “someone” at the club may not want him anymore and that he felt “thrown under the bus” for the team’s poor results.
Salah later apologized to his teammates for this outburst and reconciled with Slot, who brought him back into the lineup. Since returning from the AFCON, he has started every match, but there is still uncertainty about his future at the club next season.

According to BBC Sport, “a summer departure is increasingly likely” when the transfer window opens, although it “ultimately depends on genuine interest and whether Salah’s wage demands can be met.”
Potential moves to Saudi Arabia or the US have been mentioned. With his contract running until 2027, Liverpool may consider selling him this summer to avoid losing him for free the following year.
The Saudi Pro League has been interested in Salah for a while. Al Ittihad made a £150 million bid in September 2023, which Liverpool quickly turned down.
