The Italian midfielder is set to change teams this summer. Tottenham Hotspur is reportedly making a significant addition to their midfield lineup.
Details: Prominent journalist Nicolò Schira has stated on his X social media page that Newcastle midfielder Sandro Tonali has agreed to personal terms with Tottenham. It is anticipated that Tonali’s contract with the Spurs will extend until 2032.
Tonali is eager for a change of club and considers joining Tottenham his top priority. His move has been facilitated by Roberto De Zerbi, who played a vital role in persuading the player to accept the offer from the London club.
However, Tottenham is yet to reach an agreement with Newcastle, who has not agreed to sell one of their key midfielders. Last season, Tonali made 53 appearances for Newcastle, scoring three goals and providing seven assists. He is currently under contract with the Magpies until 2028, with Transfermarkt estimating his transfer value at 80 million euros.
