The season has been challenging for Santiago Gimenez, the Mexican forward for AC Milan. Following a 1-2 loss at home to Cagliari, the club concluded a disappointing season and marked its place in Serie A history.
Remarkably, Gimenez, at 25 years old, made history as the first forward in Serie A to finish a season without scoring any goals after starting 10 or more matches. Throughout the season, he made 16 appearances, providing two assists, yet was unable to find the net.
Gimenez was transferred to Milan from Feyenoord in February 2025 for a fee of €30 million. In total, he has played 37 matches for the Rossoneri, scoring seven goals and recording six assists.
