The Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) will unveil the names of the players selected for the upcoming World Cup on 11 May. This summer’s tournament will take place in the United States, Canada, and Mexico, marking the DRC’s return to the world stage after a hiatus of 52 years.
Head coach Sébastien Desabre is responsible for announcing the squad, which will consist of 26 players. However, reports from Congolese media indicate that no press conference will be held for this announcement.
In the group stage of the tournament, the DRC’s national team, known as the Leopards, has been drawn into Group K, where they will compete against Portugal, Colombia, and Uzbekistan.
