Seny Koumbassa, a defender with Guinean roots, has been recognized for his strong performances at Toulouse FC.

Starting his journey at the club at just nine years old, Koumbassa has shown significant growth. He signed his first professional contract in 2025 and made his Ligue 1 debut soon after. The 18-year-old has continued to impress the club’s management, prompting them to secure his future with a long-term contract that extends until June 2030, as announced by the club.

Following the contract renewal, Koumbassa shared his excitement and pride about staying with Toulouse FC.

I’m very happy to be extending my stay here. I’ve been at the club since I was a little boy, so it means a great deal to me. It’s a source of great pride to continue the adventure after my first professional contract. But I know this is only the beginning.
