Legendary Spanish defender Sergio Ramos is on the verge of a significant new chapter in his life. The 40-year-old has revealed he is close to acquiring his boyhood club, Sevilla FC.
In a recent interview, Ramos shared insights into the impending deal, expressing optimism that the transaction will be finalized soon. He stated,
“I think in a few months or weeks there will be news, and we hope that it will be the kind we all want. Things are moving in the right direction,”

Ramos’ connection to Sevilla runs deep; he is a product of the club’s academy, having joined its youth system in 2002. He made his way up through the junior squads and debuted for the first team in 2004. During his tenure at Sevilla, Ramos played 87 matches, scoring 10 goals and providing 1 assist.
Currently, he is a free agent after leaving Mexican side Monterrey in January of this year.
