Nigerian forward Stanley Iheanacho has made a return to Danish Superliga club FC Midtjylland following his departure from Portuguese side CD Mafra. Iheanacho has signed a long-term contract that will see him remain at the club until December 31, 2030.
This move is part of FC Midtjylland’s strategy to invest in promising young talent. The club’s sporting director, Kristian Bach Bak, expressed enthusiasm about Iheanacho’s recruitment and his potential contributions.
“Stanley is still a young boy who came very far from home early on. He traveled from Nigeria to Denmark and then from Denmark to Portugal,” Bak told the club’s official website.
