The future of Cameroonian forward Carlos Baleba at Brighton & Hove Albion remains uncertain as he finds himself sidelined this season. The 21-year-old has struggled for playing time, leading to speculation about his next move.
In light of his limited opportunities, Baleba has not dismissed the possibility of a transfer, and Brighton appears open to negotiations. This situation has attracted interest from several Premier League clubs, notably Tottenham Hotspur.
Tottenham, which previously expressed interest in Baleba last winter, is aiming to secure his signature this summer, potentially edging out rivals Manchester United. According to The Independent, Spurs coach Roberto De Zerbi is keen on bringing Baleba on board, having previously managed him at Brighton.
If a deal materializes, it would mark a return for Baleba under De Zerbi’s guidance, as the two have a history together from their time at Brighton.
