Tottenham Hotspur is set to bolster its club structure beyond simply acquiring new players. The club has reportedly identified a candidate for the position of a new sporting director.
According to noted journalist Florian Plettenberg on social media platform X, Tottenham is in advanced talks to bring aboard Sebastian Kehl, the former sporting director of Borussia Dortmund, as their new sporting director.
Reports indicate that Spurs’ management aims to have Kehl collaborate with current sporting director Johan Lange. Though the contract has yet to be finalized, it is rumored that Tottenham’s ongoing interest might persuade Kehl to accept the offer.
As of now, Kehl remains a free agent after departing from Borussia Dortmund in March of this year.
