Spanish defender Pedro Porro is set to remain with Tottenham Hotspur as the club successfully retains its defensive leader.
Details: According to reports from The Athletic, the 26-year-old right-back is on the verge of signing a contract extension with Spurs. Despite interest from several clubs, including Manchester City, Porro has opted to stay with the team under manager Roberto De Zerbi.
Porro is expected to sign a new deal that will keep him at Tottenham until 2030, along with improved contract terms. He initially joined the club in 2023 from Sporting Lisbon for €40 million and has since established himself as a key player.
Since joining, Porro has made 152 appearances, scoring 13 goals and providing 26 assists. His current contract with the club runs until 2028, and his market value stands at €35 million according to Transfermarkt.
