A sensational scandal has erupted over the emergency call-up of Trevoh Chalobah to replace the injured Tino Livramento. Fans in Britain have criticized coach Thomas Tuchel for bypassing Trent Alexander-Arnold, but reports have revealed that the issue was more of an organizational blunder than a tactical decision.

According to Indykaila News, citing Sky Sports, the English Football Association (FA) officials were unable to locate Alexander-Arnold during the frantic moments surrounding the call-up. The star defender was on holiday following the club season, leaving FA staff unaware of his whereabouts.

This unusual situation raised concerns within the Three Lions’ camp. Even if Alexander-Arnold received an official call-up, there was no certainty that he could finalize the necessary paperwork and arrive in the USA on time for the group stage kickoff.
