Vinícius Júnior shared a humorous anecdote following his recent header goal at the 2026 World Cup. The Brazilian winger revealed that he had made a promise to his coach, Carlo Ancelotti, to score with his head, and is now eagerly awaiting a reward from him.

According to Vinícius, Ancelotti was skeptical about the prospect, deeming it nearly impossible. Despite this, the forward achieved the feat and is now looking forward to the promised gift.

“I promised Carlo Ancelotti that I would score a header. He told me that this is almost impossible and that he would give me a gift if I did it. I’m now waiting for it,” Vinícius said.
