Wikki Tourists have announced the tragic passing of defender Kabiru Mohammed following a fatal road accident on the Zaria–Gusau highway.
The club confirmed that the player lost his life in the incident, describing the news as a devastating blow to the team, supporters, and the broader Nigerian football community.
Kabiru Mohammed recently joined Wikki Tourists ahead of the 2025/2026 Nigeria Premier Football League season from Lobi Stars. Despite his short tenure at the club, he quickly became a reliable presence in defense, earning respect for his discipline, commitment, and strong work ethic.
His last appearance for the club was in the President Federation Cup fixture against Jigawa Golden Stars Junior Team at Nasara Stadium, Kofar Doka, Zaria, on Tuesday, May 19, 2026.
